Bellingham - Sehome's Lucas Cunningham won the boys 1600 meter race, while Cameron Hodges placed 3rd as the top girl from Whatcom county tonight at Civic Stadium at the 2A Sub-District Track and Field Meet.
Sehome boy's and girl's each had 3 runners in the top 8 in both 1600 meter races.
Sedro's Kristen Garcia, a University of Wisconsin commit, won the girls 1600 in a time of 5:09.53.
In the 800 prelims, 4 boy's and 3 girl's from Whatcom County advanced to the final of the 800 race which will be on Friday at Civic. The 3 girl's came from Sehome.
